Home-screen widgets

Widgets put CA Secure on your phone's home screen: open the app, start a path, or open a secure door in one tap.

The widgets

WidgetWhat a tap does
Contactless AccessOpens CA Secure.
PathStarts the path you chose for it.
Secure DoorOpens the secure door you chose, when you're near it. Only available once you have a secure door.

Add a widget

Android

  1. Hold an empty spot on your home screen and tap Widgets.
  2. Find CA Secure and drag the widget you want onto the screen.
  3. For the Path widget, choose the path (Choose a PATH for this widget). For the Secure Door widget, choose the door.

iPhone

  1. Hold an empty spot on your home screen, then tap Edit › Add Widget.
  2. Find CA Secure, pick the widget and size, and tap Add Widget.
  3. For the Path widget, hold it, tap Edit Widget and choose the path.

  2. Further down the list: the 5 by 2 Secure Door widget, one-tap secure access to a chosen door.

  3. Choose a Secure Door for this widget: Contactless Access, with LOCKED and HIDDEN.

  5. Choose a PATH for this widget: the paths at Contactless Access and other paths.

  2. The Secure Door widget: Opens a secure door when you're near it, with an Add Widget button.
    Pick a widget, tap Add Widget
  3. The home screen in edit mode: the new widget says Hold, then Edit Widget to choose a door.
